I matriculated to West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. I continued with the U.S. Army as reservist and drilled on weekends. I also completed my Officers Advance course. I was able to do very challenging rotations to include working with an invasive cardiologist in Pittsburgh Dr. Ellis who is world renown interventionist.
In October of 2021 I returned to Atlanta to take my current position with United Ortho and Spine as Medical Director and chief anesthesiologist/Pain Physician. Using state of the art equipment in our comprehensive surgery and pain center I have been able to help the people of Atlanta regain their lives by relieving pain through multi- discipline multi modal approach with treatments to include- Chiropractor, Physical therapy, Interventional procedures, regenerative procedures, mental health treatments. This position is my dream job, why? Because it allows me to give care at the top level to those who are in severe pain and suffering devastating injuries trying to heal their injuries and their anguish. I started this journey over 50 years ago when I volunteered at Ft. Lyon VA in Colorado to help injured veterans cope with their injuries over 1,000 hours work. Then as Nurse, Nurse anesthetist, medical doctor, Anesthesiologist and finally in specialty of pain management.
